Our founder, Joe Magos (an immigrant from Eastern Europe), had in-laws who had a Swiss Franc (CHF) based mortgage. In the Financial crisis of 2008, their monthly payment surged by over 300%, and they lost their home during the period. However, they were not fully aware that they could sell their home to an investor and make some profits from the sale. So, Joe detected a gap in the real estate industry. He realized the need for a proactive and strategic real-estate service where sellers can seamlessly sell off their homes. Hence, the birth of Fiamen!

This informs his decision to kickstart his own real estate investment firm–Fiamen.
